Acquired brain injury

Headway Bath and District provides specialist support, cognitive rehabilitation, and relief to adults who have experienced an acquired brain injury, along with their families and carers.

Citizens Advice Macmillan Benefits Advice Service, is a partnership between Macmillan Cancer Support and Citizens Advice, provides free, confidential, and impartial advice to individuals and families affected by cancer. This service helps with various issues related to cancer, including financial benefits, debt, housing, employment, and more.

Dementia Support

The Alzheimer’s Society is here for everyone affected by dementia – people living with the condition and those who care for and support them.  The Dementia Advice service offers information and practical guidance to help a person understand dementia, cope with day-to-day challenges and prepare for the future. Other services include our Singing for the Brain group activity and online carers support programme.

Life-limiting illness

Dorothy House provides free palliative and end-of-life care for adults with incurable, life-limiting illnesses and their families.  Services include specialist nurse, hospice care,  family support, bereavement care.
