Citizens Advice

Citizens Advice is a free, independent and confidential advice service.  They support people to overcome their problems and campaign on big issues when their voices need to be heard.

Support and advice is available to any B&NES resident.  The Macmillan welfare benefits service covers the RUH footprint.

Citizens Advice

The service offers generalist advice on any issue, delivered by phone and face-to-face at council offices in Bath, Midsomer Norton and Keynsham.   This includes Welfare benefits advice and link worker service for people affected by cancer or other life-limiting health conditions.

They also offer specialist debt and energy advice, representation at Social Security Appeals Tribunals and outreach advice at local foodbanks and food pantries.

In addition, they work with a local law firm acting pro-bono to offer specialist legal advice (Bath Law Clinic).
