Our partners offer a range of services including information and advice, support to apply for a blue badge, transport to and from appointments and ways to keep active

Advice on community transport

The Village Agents help people connect to local community transport solutions so that they can remain independent and not isolated, connecting them to services, support and the local community.

Applying for Blue Badges

For anyone over pension age, their families and carers and anyone approaching state retirement seeking support with Blue Badge applications who are unable to apply online or access the Council's one stop shop services.

Get Active (Active Way)

The service supports people to become more active, without the need for a GP referral.  They helps people access a range of wheeled, walking and cycling activities

Independent Living Support Service

The Independent Living Support Service helps adults to live independently and confidently at home for as long as possible. Provides transport support through the Independent Living Service to and from appointments, shopping, medication collection.

Transport to appointments and social activities

The service uses volunteers who provide transport to most health appointments and social activities although there is no wheelchair accessible vehicles available.  For people on benefits and are on low incomes.
