Wellbeing Buggy Walks Copy

Join The Active Way and The Children’s Centre Banes for their free Wellbeing Buggy Walks across the Somer Valley for parents and carers.

Are you looking for a way to start your week by connecting with others, staying active, enjoying the outdoors with your little ones, and feeling energised? Then why not join The Active Way and The Children's Centre for free, open, and friendly buggy walks for parents and caregivers of babies and young children who can walk or are in prams, buggies, and carriers?

3rd May 2024

Walking is an excellent way to improve well-being and promote good mental health. Our buggy walks are for everyone, regardless of fitness level. They aim to help parents and caregivers of new babies and young children become more active, feel fitter and energised, and enjoy the fresh air in a supportive and social environment.

  • The second block of well-being buggy walks will take place in Midsomer Norton on Monday, 13th May and Monday, 20th May.
  • To confirm your space for the walks, please reserve a spot for each separate week via this link: https://bit.ly/3VIYuG2
  • Each week, the group meets outside The Somer Centre in Midsomer Norton every Monday at 9:30 a.m. and begins their walks promptly at 9:45 a.m.
  • These gentle walks will last approximately 1 hour, with an additional 15 minutes included for a stop, a chance to have a healthy snack and play outdoors.
  • Your walk leaders, Becky and Hayley, will guide the walks and provide snacks for you and your little ones.
  • For more information, get in touch with Hayley and Becky at info@theactivewaybathnes.co.uk | rebecca_riddle@bathnes.gov.uk
