Living well while waiting for a memory assessment’

The wait for a memory assessment can be a worrying and uncertain time. You might not know where to turn to learn more about what might happen next, or whether you can get any help in the meantime. This can leave people feeling alone and confused.

Next Steps and Dementia Change Action network has produced a booklet 'Living well while waiting for a memory assessment' to help you to live well while you’re waiting for an assessment, however long or short that time may be.

28th May 2024

The booklet is designed to help with:

  • Prepare for your memory assessment
  • Take care of your well-being
  • Explore available support
  • What if I’m diagnosed with a form of dementia?
