The End of the Road Show
A performance by 'Off the Twig'. Join Dorothy House for an evening full of warmth, wit and humanity, with a heartfelt and thought-provoking look at end of life. The event will take place on Wednesday 10th May 2023, at 7.30pm, the Memorial Hall at the Royal High School, Bah, Lansdown Road, Bath, BA1 5SZ.
As part of Dying Matters Awareness week (8-14 May) and fully in-keeping with our mission to make ‘death a part of life’, we have jumped at the chance to host an evening’s performance of a pioneering piece of theatre in Bath.
‘The End of the Road Show’ is produced by a touring theatre company called ‘Off The Twig’ and is inspired by real-life discussions;
“this heartfelt and thought-provoking piece of theatre blends spoken word and sound with informal open space for conversation. The result is an informative and empowering look at end-of-life planning that is full of warmth, wit and humanity.”
We hope this event will encourage our community to talk about the end of life and the care we will all need one day.
Parking is available in the car park at the front of the school (entrance on Lansdown Road), and on nearby residential roads. If you require disabled access please just let us know before hand and we will let you know the best place to park and enter.
Tickets for the event are limited, but are absolutely free. Please simply RSVP katy.hancock@dorothyhouse-hospice.org.uk by 4 May with the number of tickets you would like.
Performance Starts at 7.30pm - 8.30pm, welcome drinks from 6.45pm. After show drinks and refection from 8.30pm.
