Home safety and energy efficiency

The Community Wellbeing Hub (CWH) brings together partners that offer support to people who need help and advice regarding home safety and energy efficiency. Partners will work together to ensure that the right support is offered to meet the needs of the person and, where necessary, will refer to other services.

We Care Home Improvements

We Care Home Improvements provides help to homeowners and private tenants. Support includes surveying houses to identify defects, case-related services, grants and self-funded (if you own your own home). We Care also provides minor repairs, such as repairing a leaking tap, to help when you leave hospital or advice on adapting your home, including deep cleans and clutters and any work that is necessary to support discharge. They can also make a referral to the Fire Service for a Home Safety check. There may be a charge for this service.

Live Well B&NES (Council)

Live Well B&NES provides impartial information and signposting to many services, groups and organisations across the Bath & North East Somerset area. The site is split into three areas of need, providing support to adults to continue living independently, information to support young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities and parenting support to families including Ofsted registered childcare.
